The Governing Body of Air Balloon Hill Infants School is committed to making a positive contribution to children’s education and plays an important part in raising the school’s standards through its three key roles of setting strategic direction, ensuring accountability and monitoring and evaluating school performance.

The latest Ofsted inspection in February 2006 made the following observations and comments of our Governing body.

Described as an ‘organised’ governing body it was noted that. “Governors have a good understanding of their roles and responsibilities. They are very supportive and provide good levels of challenge. They are involved in evaluating the schools performance and planning for improvement.”
